Various - Slum Dunk Presents Funk Carioca LP

Slum Dunk is a musical collective made up of Brazilian artists residing in London. They currently operate a weekly radio programme of the same name that airs in London every Tuesday from 1-2PM on Resonance FM 104.4 (also available on www.resonancefm.com) and covers all aspects of Brazilian music. At the core of Slum Dunk is the electronic duo Tetine made up of Eliete Mejorado and Bruno Verner.

This album is the first European compilation entirely dedicated to Funk Carioca (or Baille Funk). The album features the Godfather of 'Funk' DJ Marlboro, who runs the Funk scene in Rio with his daily radio show to hundreds of thousands, as well as other amazing artists such as Tati Quebra Barraco, MC Vanessinha, Bonde do Tigro and XXX-rated tunes from Proibido.

This vinyl version contains unmixed versions of the tracks. Also available as a mixed CD and digital download
