Su-Paka-Pooh - Sunny Side Garden

Su-Paka-Pooh are Japanese duo Hidehiko Murao and Ishizuka Chikashi. Murao plays the saxophone and programs, while Chikashi has been a top level DJ in such jumping Tokyo night spots as The Room and Yellow. He also has a legendary radio show on Shibuya FM which has been going since 1989.

Ever since their debut single "Jellyfish (Kurage)" tore up dancefloors all over the world, including heavy rotations at Body & Soul, Su-Paka-Pooh have been labeled ones to watch.

Su-Paka-Pooh covered the Art Ensemble Of Chicago's jazz-dance classic "Theme De Yo-Yo" for this album (originally written by Fontella Bass) which featured a remix by Flower records head honcho Little Big Bee.
