This is the groundbreaking international debut from Cuban star, Hanny, real name Leosel Jimenez Licea.

Whilst playing as a busker on the streets of Havana at just 24 years old, Hanny was discovered by Mr Bongo which resulted in this recording, which introduces his unique & highly influential style.

Hanny combines a respect for the very best of traditional Cuban songwriting and musicianship with a contemporary flair and passion. Progressive arrangements, a-typical instrumentation (cellos et al) and a lyrical depth not seen in modern salsa music.
