Atmosfear - Altered Slates

Atmosfear occupies a special place in the history of modern club music. Their debut with 1979's timeless, groundbreaking and much sampled Dancing In Outer Space, ensured this would not be just another band.

Several of the early classics here are reshaped by masters of the remix genre - Masters At Work and Dmitri From Paris tough, modern and respectful treatments of 'Dancing in Outer Space' and 'Motivation'.

Altered Slates also contains Si Begg's outstanding cut-up of the eerie underground 'Alternative II', Ben Mitchell's remake of 'Extract' (once Pete's Tongs: Record of the Year) and several other aural delights.

This was available on both CD and vinyl, however both are out of print.
