Kaori
Kaori is the voice behind the cover version of the Inner City House Classic "Good Life" that was released on Disorient Records.
In 1999 Kaori, then Japanese session singer for the likes of UFO and Jazztronik, gave a demo tape of her cover version of "Good Life" to Thomas Schumacher who was visiting Japan. At that time Thomas was recording his second album "Electric Avenue" and he jumped at the opportunity to use Kaori's vocal to produce his own cover of this legendary cub anthem.
In the summer of 2000, Thomas was guest to play the "WIRE 2000" Festival which is the biggest Techno event in Japan. It was the first time Thomas played the tracks from the new album and the crowd of over 15,000 people went totally crazy when Kaori came out with "Good life" live on stage with Thomas.
